TAKE ME TO CAPRI

Only 3 months left to my birthday and I am already anxious if I will be able to return, at least this year, to my beloved Capri and be able to celebrate it there as usual. Last spring, like everyone unable to travel, I was instead surprised by my closest friends with a Thai themed cooking party school that my beloved Adele kindly organized on her beautiful terrace facing the Prague Castle at the sunset. Only few knows how to amaze me! But I must admit, this was an impeccable evening.(continues below)

Capri, however …Whoever was there knows how to finish the sentence, whoever didn’t, must remedy as soon as possible. In the hope of returning, I relive trough the pictures the retro atmosphere, the unique landscape and the fresh air of the jasmines that blooms right in May and that always travels with me in the scents of Carthusia perfumes that I always carry around with me. Many birthdays were unforgettable, whether accompanied by the partner of the moment, by group of friends, either on a girls trip. Herewith some photos that remember those moments.(continues below)

Capri is beautiful even for just two days, but I like to experience the island without fasts apart from the hotel that traditionally hosts me, the Tiberio Palace. At the end,the important thing is the company, a plate of pasta with clams, fresh rosé wine and if accompanied with a view of the famous faraglioni, even better.(continues below)

In the evening, a dinner at Paolino’s, who has made his lemon garden into a restaurant, cannot be missed along with his excellent limoncello that is unreplaceable.(continues below)

Here we go, we have traveled for a moment with the memory, the pure essence of “dolce far niente” under the shade of the secular pines surrounded by the sound of crickets.

This is Italy.
