GONE WITH THE WIND

Summer in Puglia and my golden bronze tan. This summer was just incredible and quite impressive that we were able to go on holidays despite the first quarter situation. Once in Puglia I plug off (not my phone!!) but my brain. The picture seems almost to capture how I am blowing out indeed!!! :):) Needless to say how much the sun gives back the energy lost and recharges back. Days in Puglia are lazy but always somehow constructive. Thus I never stop doing things, when I am done with reading, tanning, eating or sleeping, I start to cook the season harvest, otherwise I have the feeling to loose time.

In the house from the morning lounge soft music is on and the coffee machine spreads around the flavor of Italy. My favorite spots in the house is always under the shade of a rattan handmade roof that stripes the sunlight on the floor. The gentle wind that is typical in this area makes a hot 40 degrees summer livable and easy.

For lunch we go to the garden to collect some fresh salad and sweet tomatoes and cook the fresh fish that we buy at the market in the morning.

The evening it is covered with stars and the sound of crickets, the Ipod is turned off as the lights, and we relax at the table with friends sipping the typical local wine received from some nearby farmer, talking about nothing or almost, but laughing a lot. This is my happiness.

This is what happen hundreds of miles from home, or can home be wherever we feel good?
