Strawberry tree

Third advent of the year and still cooking. I can’t remember a year where I cooked so much. Now the challenges continue, sometimes with unthinkable results, but precisely for this reason, when successful, they are rewarding.

Today we repeat a recipe made few weeks ago with blueberries, but this time we use strawberries to give a statement Christmas imprint. I am sure all of us sees trees and decorations on all sides and in all features so as to have a full head, but the beauty is that in a few days we will return to normality :).

Last year my culinary tree was made by würstel, this year we make it sweet, but armed with holy patience regarding accuracy. As in the previous case, you do not need a recipe as you will only use the puff pastry and strawberries. This time without sugar so we avoid the strawberries to release water during cooking and stain the pastry.

I decorated the edges with big and small stars, denying not having bought more dimensions that could have given an even more dimensional effect. Needless to say, during brunch, the dessert was finished in 20 minutes! While serving it, I poured a little maple syrup on the side to give to the strawberries an extra flavor. Also excellent with vanilla ice cream.

HAVE A GOOD MEAL!
